The evaporator coil above had to be replaced due to corrosion and leaking refrigerant. The evaporator Coil (indoor Coil) is cleaned in the spring as part of your spring ac maintenance . A foaming cleaner is applied to your ac coils and allowed to penetrate the dirt and debris. After allowing the coil cleaner to soak into the coils, Drip and the boys go to work powering through the interior of the coils and flushing out dirt debris and most importantly microbial growth. The debris exits through the condensate drain. The primary drain pan and piping are flushed with 2 gallons of water and a drain gel is added to help breakdown build-up.
